Teresa Kona

Teresa Kona is the President of Friends of Buea School for the Deaf (FoBSD), where she has served on the board since 2012 and previously led the organization’s Social Media and Public Relations efforts. Passionate about education and advocacy for the Deaf community, Teresa is committed to building bridges between the U.S. and Cameroon to create access and opportunity for Deaf students.
She currently works as the Judicial Clerkship Coordinator at The George Washington University Law School. Teresa holds a Master of Professional Studies in Political Management and a Certificate in Global Politics from The George Washington University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Morgan State University.
A proud lifelong Bear, she is a lifetime member of the Morgan State University Alumni Association and a charter member of its Cheerleading Chapter. Teresa is also a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society.
