Teresa Arcari is a dedicated advocate and founding board member of Friends of Buea School for the Deaf (FoBSD), driven by a passion for community impact and empowerment. She believes in the transformative power of helping others, often saying, “Helping others is a selfish act because it makes you feel so good :-)”.

With extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, Teresa works to build meaningful connections and support systems that uplift Deaf students in Cameroon. Her commitment fuels FoBSD’s mission to challenge stereotypes and expand opportunities for Deaf education and independence.
