Billy Sanders’ passion for serving the Deaf community was inspired by his mother, Debra, who is Deaf. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and an M.S. in Public Administration from Florida A&M University, and is pursuing a doctorate in Community College Leadership at Morgan State University. For over 15 years, Billy has taught American Sign Language, Signed Language Systems, and Cross-Cultural Communication at numerous colleges and universities.

As a nationally certified interpreter, he is also the founder and Communications Consultant at Bridges Consulting, dedicated to advancing cross-cultural communication through education and empowerment. Outside of work, Billy enjoys time with his son, Donovan, a student at the University of Virginia.
